How did you come to work in your creative industry?

When I was growing up, I was surrounded by film making, photography and creative arts due to my father being in the industry. Therefore, seeing him always fascinated me and made me want to explore for myself.

How do look after yourself mentally and physically?

Currently, I have changed my eating habits as I’m not eating gluten, lactose nor sugar (I try). I feel that it has allowed me to think more freely and fresh because I believe that my body is spending less time digesting and concentrating my blood in one point. Instead, it is distributing the blood around the body therefore my mind is clearer and it’s easier to do physical activities.

What makes you nervous?

Things that make me nervous :

  • When I contract a model and I see the portfolio and its amazing but in reality they are nothing like their photos (like AliExpress).
  • When lighting team give unrealistic expectations “In 1 hour it will be done” …3 hours later still waiting.
  • When the weather forecast says is going to be a sunny day and when you arrived at the location it’s chucking it down.
  • If I were part of a world campaign and my camera broke or all of my photos were deleted.

Who has inspired you the most throughout your career?

It hasn’t necessarily been a person that has inspired me, instead its has been my environment. For example, living in Paris and currently now living in Madrid. I like to see the way that people live, their habits, architecture and their art.

If you were a perfume what would you smell like?

If I were a perfume I would smell like musky wood, a touch of jasmine, old leather and to finish off a hint of freshness.

What’s on your playlist right now?

On my playlist right now is L’Impératrice, Pulp, The Smiths, Morrissey, Arcade Fire, Billy Idol, Blur…

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years I would like to see myself inspiring and moving people thanks to my work. I would like them to feel identified with my work. in addition, I see myself living in a place or country surrounded by art.
